Public Letter to the Christian Faithful: The Threat of Unmanaged Immigration
The forced Islamisation of the Christian Visigothic Kingdoms in the Iberian Peninsula prompted the Reconquest of Iberia and restoration of Christianity, beginning around 718 and concluding in 1492
Public Letter to all Secular Westerners, and the Christian Faithful:
To all who hold the Christian faith, and to those who cherish the inheritance of a secular Western Civilisation built upon Judeo-Christian foundations, for two thousand years:
May the Almighty God keep you all well and safe and bless you
in the name of the Father and the Son and + the Holy Spirit…
We write in a spirit of clarity and unequivocal resolve concerning the present crisis of migration into Europe, and specifically the policies pursued by Spain and other European governments, regarding migration specifically from Muslim countries.
We condemn Spain’s irresponsible management of migration from countries whose dominant religious ideologies and cultural patterns pose a direct and documented threat to the Judeo-Christian social cohesion, legal order, and cultural fabric of our Secular Western Civilisation. Mass inflows without mandatory assimilation requirements have already produced parallel societies, social ghettos, elevated rates of certain crimes (e.g. rape, gang-rape, grooming, genital mutilation of women, forced marriage of minors etc…), pressure on women’s rights, and open challenges to secular democratic norms in multiple European countries and cities, as well as many other countries around the World, where Western Civilisation is prevalent. Continuing this course is not compassion; it is negligence toward the common good, and a most grievous dereliction of duty.
We call on every European government and every other Western governments around the World, to deport all illegal migrants immediately, without exception. Entry in violation of law is not a pathway to permanent residence. Rule of law requires enforcement, not selective amnesty.
We further call on European governments to remove, through lawful deportation or withdrawal of citizenship, acquired nationality or allowed residence status, any lawfully resident migrant whose publicly expressed religious, political, or cultural commitments are demonstrably incompatible with the primacy of Western rule of law, secular democracy, equality before the law, the rights of women, the protection of sexual minorities, freedom of speech and religion, and the basic social peace of host societies. Residence is a privilege conditioned on acceptance of the constitutional order, not a licence to undermine it.
Migration routes from countries whose prevailing religious affiliation, culture, legal traditions, and societal values stand in fundamental and persistent tension with Western norms and ways of life must be closed or tightly restricted. Cultural, religious and societal values distance is not a minor administrative detail; it predicts integration outcomes.
Priority in any remaining legal migration must be given to applicants from countries whose culture, values, and ways of life have proven compatible with Western societies. Historical patterns of successful integration matter more than abstract ideology and senseless political correctness.
European governments and other governments of Western countries around the World must listen to the clear and repeated desire of their own native populations for migration policies that eliminate risk of aggression, violence, dominance claims, or systemic incompatibility. Democratic consent is not optional. Polling across the European continent and beyond has shown for years that large majorities reject the current scale and composition of inflows; continued disregard is a failure of representation and a severe dereliction of duty of care.
We affirm to the Christian faithful and all native secular Westerners that they possess both the moral right and the civic duty to reject migration from cultures that are incompatible with Western values when such inflows demonstrably threaten social cohesion, public safety, or the transmission of the Western Civilisation they inherited to the next generations. Faithfulness does not require the dissolution of one’s own society. Native Westerners and Christians may, and should, actively oppose policies that treat the historic peoples and cultures of Europe and the Western World as disposable.
Additional necessary points:
Charity begins at home with one’s own household and nation. The duty to the stranger never extinguishes the prior duty to protect the weak, the young, and the continuity of the society that sustains hospitals, schools, and churches, and the continuity of the prevalent Western ways of life.
Assimilation is not optional. Host countries must require language competence and excellent fluency, acceptance of equality between the sexes, rejection of religiously justified violence or claims of supremacy, and loyalty to the constitutional order. Failure on these points must always be grounds for removal and deportation.
Demographic and cultural transformation without native peoples’ consent is not progress; indeed it often leads to chaos. Nations have the right to remain recognisably themselves and preserve their Native Western identity.
Churches and Christian institutions that prioritise political fashion over the actual conditions required for peaceful coexistence do a disservice to both the Gospel and their flocks. Truth-telling about incompatible ideologies is neither hatred nor racism; indeed, it is both a right and a civic duty of care owed to the native Westerners, all Christians and integrated peaceful migrants lawfully resident in our flocks.
We urge bishops, pastors, parish priests, all Clergy at large, and all lay faithful to speak these realities without apology. Prayer for the conversion of hearts and for wise public governance remains essential; so does the sober and resolute defence of the Judeo-Christian Western Civilisation that made ordered liberty, civilised secularism, constitutional order and Rule of Law, and Christian witness possible in Europe and in all other Western countries around the World.
May the Lord grant courage, resolve and clarity, and keep Western Civilisation under the protection of His most merciful Sacred Heart. Amen.
