Introduction:
This is an extremely powerful prayer! Devotion to Our Lady of Good Remedy originated in the 12th century when large sums of money were needed to ransom Christians who had been captured and sold into slavery by the Muslims. Under Our Lady’s patronage, St. John of Matha and the Trinitarian Order were able to raise the funds to free many thousands of Christians.

This prayer was found in the year 50 AD. In 1505 it was sent from the Pope to Emperor Charles V when he was going into battle.
